Privacy policy

This policy explains how Lime Lift BV handles personal data when you visit limelift.be or contact us. We keep data to the minimum we need, host it in the EU, and work in line with the GDPR (AVG) and the EU AI Act.

What we collect, and why
- Contact form — the name, email address and message you send us. We use them only to answer your enquiry and, if it goes further, to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Server logs — standard technical data (IP address, timestamp, page) kept briefly to run the site securely and prevent abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Spam protection — the contact form uses Google reCAPTCHA v3, which processes some technical/interaction data to tell humans from bots, subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms. It loads only when you interact with the form.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don’t sell or share your data for marketing.
Where your data is processed
The site runs on Amazon Web Services in the EU (hosting in eu-west-1, Ireland; email delivery via Amazon SES in eu-west-3, Paris). Contact-form messages are delivered to our own info@limelift.be mailbox. Google reCAPTCHA is provided by Google Ireland Ltd. Where any processing involves a transfer outside the EEA, it relies on the appropriate safeguards (e.g. EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting work, then archive or delete them. Server logs are kept only briefly. Ask us and we’ll tell you exactly what we hold about you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to or restrict how we use it. Email info@limelift.be and we’ll respond within the legal timeframe.
If you’re not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be.

We may update this policy as the site or our tools change. The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
